Why Learn a Foreign Language?
LANGUAGE CLASSES FOR KIDS, TEENS & ADULTS
Learning a new language is beneficial in so many ways:
– You can meet new people as doors open to you around the world
– Employers love it : If your C.V. accolades include fluency in a second (or more) languages, your chances of employment in today’s economy are much greater for you than for those who speak only one language
– It’s great for traveling
– After learning one, it’s easier to learn another. You’re increasing your ability to replicate the learning process with multiple languages. This is called “metalinguistic awareness,” where your brain learns to identify the techniques of language learning and to break them down into a series of steps. After learning one language, you retain the muscle memory. Your brain will intrinsically understand how to learn a language and how different languages are structured, through increased awareness of syntax, grammar and sentence structure.

We offer classes in French, Spanish and English as a Second Language to adults, teens and children.
For pre school children we offer French on Mondays from 1pm to 1.30pm and Spanish on Tuesdays from 1.30 to 2.15pm at the Center for Language and Culture.
